Our Licence Bridge Training
BA to B

At Carnolès Auto-École in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, we offer a bridging course specially designed for drivers with a BA licence (automatic gearbox) who want to switch to a B licence (manual gearbox). This course will enable you to master the driving of a manual transmission vehicle, giving you greater flexibility and freedom on the road.

This training includes 7 hours of manual gearbox driving, after a minimum of 6 months following successful completion of the BEA driving test. No regularisation with an inspector is required at the end of this training (except for drivers who have obtained the BEA licence for medical reasons).

How the course works

  • Students will be trained to handle a car with a mechanical gearbox...
  • The training is both practical and individual, given on a category B manual gearbox vehicle. The theoretical elements, linked to practice, can be explained directly on board the vehicle during the driving sessions.

Documents to be supplied

Photocopy of both sides of identity card or residence permit

Photocopy of driving licence

1 Proof of address in the applicant’s name + accommodation certificate (if different name)

4 ANTS-approved ‘ephoto’ photographs of the face
